With family on both sides of the country and Matthew on a mission it has been pretty much impossible to be at the same place at the same time, but this summer we actually accomplished it! On Sunday July 5th, 2009 we had a family reunion at the Bountiful Temple. It was 4 days before Matthew was actually released from his mission though, so we also had his companion at the reunion too, but we didn't mind. The afternoon was spent on the temple grounds where we took many family pictures and then at a nearby church building's pavilion and park where we enjoyed dinner while watching the grandkids play on the slides and swings.</div><br /> <br /><div>The day was amazing and i don't think anyone wanted it to end, but alas it did. And by the next day we all went our separate ways again.</div><br /> <br /><div>I love it when our family gets together. It brings a smile to my face to see my neices and nephews playing together like my cousins and i do. It makes me think how much happier my life is because of my family. And i thought it was very appropriate to have our faily reunion at a temple, after all, thats what makes our family enternal. Knowing that our family will always be together makes it easier to be apart.
